Can the labels be customized?
Yes! We love creating personalized candles. Just provide your details during checkout, and we'll make it uniquely yours.
What are the shipping times?
Production Time: All candles are hand-poured to order and typically require 1-3 business days before shipping. Please note that production times may be longer during the holiday season.
Shipping Time Frame: Shipping times depend on the service selected and your location. These are estimates and are subject to delays beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers.
What if my item arrives damaged or I receive the wrong item?
If your candle arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us with photos of the damage or the incorrect item. We will gladly replace it. Unfortunately, we cannot offer replacements or refunds for any other reasons, as these are custom-made and hand-poured candles.
What if my item is marked as delivered, but I haven’t received it?
If your order is marked as delivered but you cannot locate it, we recommend:
Checking with household members, neighbors, or building management to see if they accepted it.
Looking around your property, as carriers may leave packages in unexpected places.
Contacting the carrier directly to inquire about the delivery details.
Unfortunately, we are not responsible for items lost or stolen after delivery.
What are your candles made of?
Our candles are made from 100% soy wax, hand-poured in-house by our small, veteran-owned family business.
Do you have any candle care tips?
Yes! To get the most out of your candle, follow these tips:
Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each burn to ensure an even flame and prevent soot.
Allow the candle to burn long enough to create a full melt pool (edge-to-edge liquid wax) during the first burn to avoid tunneling.
Avoid burning for more than 4 hours at a time to maintain the candle's quality.
Always place your candle on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, pets, and children.
Can I use a candle warmer with your candles?
Yes! Using a candle warmer is a great alternative to lighting the wick. It helps release a broader scent throw and allows you to enjoy the fragrance longer without burning the wax.

Order and Shipping
How long before my order is shipped?
Most orders are shipped within 1-3 business days. After your order is shipped, your order will usually be delivered within 2-4 business days. These are just averages and will not apply to all orders. Your order will include tracking info once shipped for you to monitor.
How much is shipping?
For orders over $75, shipping is free. Under $75, shipping cost is determined by location.
Do you accept returns?
Unless your order arrives damaged, we do not accept returns for custom made candle orders. If your order arrived damaged, please send photos along with your order number to dudecandlemaker@gmail.com.
Candle Information
What kind of wax do you use in your candles?
Our candles are made of soy wax and are therefore completely
environmental friendly and vegan. Unlike other manufacturers, our
candles are made from 100% soy wax (no blend).
How can I keep candles looking their best?
Candles may discolor or fade when they are exposed to intense light for
extended periods as well if stored in warm or humid areas. We do not
recommend displaying your candles for long periods in direct sunlight,
fluorescent lighting or other strong illumination. Wax will soften in
temperatures over 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Store your candles in a cool,
dry place if they will be stored for an extended period of time.
Do I need to trim the wick?
Keeping your wick trimmed makes your candle safer and last longer. You should trim any candle wick to 1/4" before lighting your candle. Or, if at any point your flame is getting too large and you are seeing smoke, simply
extinguish the flame, trim and re-light.
